Michelle Jones

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Michelle was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Growing up in a multicultural family and living in a diverse environment made her culturally sensitive, especially to the needs of the vulnerable in the population. Naturally, these experiences led her to a career in Social Work. Michelle earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Brigham Young University in 2000.

Michelle’s career has included working in three residential treatment centers helping troubled teens and their families, specializing in eating disorders and trauma. She has maintained a busy private practice since 2003. In 2010, Michelle expanded her interests to helping families in high conflict divorce cases.

She is concerned about the complex issues that parents and children face as they maneuver through the court process. She is working to make changes to increase the quality and specialty of court-involved therapy.

Michelle enjoys playing the violin in the Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra, and spending time with her husband, four children, three step-children, and five grandchildren.
